Welcome to Cherry's Festive Corner.
Here at Cherry's Festive Corner, we believe business can (and should) be about more than just a transaction.
We are proud to be part of a movement known as the 'Kindness Economy' – a proven concept, championed by leaders like Mary Portas, built on a simple, powerful idea:
that we are all ready to put people, community, and the planet before pure profit.
This is why we don't just invite you to 'buy from' us. We invite you to 'buy into' our mission.
A mission to build a warm community hub that actively fights loneliness, supports our neighbours (including our partnership with Crisis), and champions beautiful, sustainable choices.
When you're here, you're part of something bigger.
Welcome.

Seven years ago, I traded comfort for courage and landed at Heathrow at age 50. I had no English, no job, and no family nearby. All I carried was a single framed photo from my daughters, with a message scrawled beneath it:
"You can do it!!! Woman, mother, queen we love you!"
This business is not just a job. It is the fulfilment of that promise. It’s my soul poured into reality—a legacy for my grandchildren, our community, and our planet.
Cherry’s Festive Corner is the heart of that belief—a place of ethical joy, zero waste, and memories that matter.
As my motto says: “Do the job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” This is my 'thank you' to the country that gave me a second chance… and proof that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself.
And all I can say today is: Yes, I can do it.

My journey is told in The Cherry Chronicles:
50, Unstoppable and my upcoming book Foreign or Citizen.
Those seven years were not a detour, they were my true education.
My time as a Live-in Carer was a profound immersion into British culture, history, and kindness , while my role as an Account Manager taught me the power of business and contribution. Far from my original career as an interior designer, these tough, challenging roles are the very experiences that enriched me, making me the person I am today.
It is a love letter to every person who had to begin again—and a special message of courage for every woman who doubts her strength.
We earn our place through hard work, civic duty, and heart.
That’s the foundation of our brand: contribution isn’t a word – it’s a way of life.

Cherry’s Whisper Café is the living answer to Foreign or Citizen.
I know what it’s like to be alone in this city, to feel like the ‘foreigner’ .
This café is the 'Warm Hub' I wish I’d had—a corner in London built on a single, founding promise: that no one who walks through our door feels alone .
We won’t just host workshops, we will build connections.
Our sustainable craft, floristry, and balloon art workshops are designed to spark creativity, but more importantly, to build a community, one conversation at a time.
As pledged, a portion of every single profit will go directly to Crisis, an organisation I proudly support.
This is my citizen’s pledge: I am building the place I needed myself. A place where everyone can find their voice, their place, and their joy in London.
